Lincoln was a special guest at the track with his family and whanau on saturday night, he is a very sick young boy. He received gift packs, free t-shirts and goodies on the night.
Every year we auction a Peter Barry Teams T-Shirt all signed by the winning team with the proceeds this year going to Lincoln’s Trip, this year the shirt went for $410 brought by Troy Battison who kindly donated it back to the HB Speedway Club. Andrea Barry donated the same amount and with the collection that was taken at the clubrooms after the meeting which raised $301.70 giving a grand total of $1121.70 rasied for his Trip.

We have pulled back the top layer of the track surface on turns 1 and 2 (Sandy Rd End) and are working on repairing the base.
The surface will then be replaced and hopefully this will level the track and help with the drainage of water and prevent ruts forming.
